Job Summary

This position requires an individual who is very strong in conceptual architectural design and has the technical fundamentals to bring that design to life. This person will collaborate on the design, documentation and consultant coordination. As this is an extremely rich period for career growth, we are looking for an individual who is both comfortable asking for guidance and pro-active in their professional growth. Experience in both architecture and interior design is desirable, but not mandatory. Demonstration of strong design skills a must.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited Architecture Program

Experience

8+ years of related experience working in a design firm

Qualifications, Skills and Software

  • Must be able to initiate and create technical drawings for the SD, DD and CD phases of project documentation
  • Revit 2026
  • Twin Motion and/or Enscape
  • Sketch-Up and/or Rhino
  • Bluebeam
  • Miro
  • MS Office
  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (highly desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with team in the concept phase to develop the overall design direction
  • Using 3D visualizations and conventional architectural drawings to convey these ideas to clients and builders
  • Help with preparation of project presentation materials such as presentation decks
  • Following standards established by global and local technology committees
  • Preparing technical documentation of projects
  • Consultant coordination
  • Collaborates with other staff on workflow optimization between technical drawings and 3D visualizations
  • Keeping current with software upgrades
  • Attending client presentations
  • Preparing and issuing Bid Documents
  • Assisting technical staff through Construction Administration

General Requirements:

Work is currently being performed in a hybrid mode with 3 days in office (T-H) and 2 remote. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Applicants MUST be currently located in the United States, reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and hold a valid US passport, green card, or work visa.
