We are currently looking for fill the following position:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Intermediate Architect/Designer will be an integral member of the team, with responsibility over the production of design and construction documents. The Intermediate Architect/Designer will be in frequent contact with the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager to maintain and implement client standards. The qualified candidate must also be familiar with all facets of an architectural survey.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain communication and strong working relationships with sub-consultants, vendors and GC’s, as well as team members; excellent follow-up skills
- Juggle multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously
- Conduct architectural surveys and produce survey reports for use in design and construction documents. Travel required.
- Must be knowledgeable of appropriate building codes and regulations, as well as industry best practices. Review and ensure all documents are code compliant.
- Maintain and implement client standards in production of all deliverables, inclusive of design and construction documents.
- Limited to full construction administration
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Architectural/Design Services
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Architecture degree required.
- Must be proficient in Revit AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
- Strong production skills, previous experience in retail a plus
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ADDITIONAL CONDISERATIONS FOR REVIT AND AUTOCAD PRODUCTION
· Aid in updating and maintaining Revit and AutoCAD project template
· Aid in maintaining and updating project standards as they develop
· Aid in maintaining view templates for multi-trade Revit models
· Update standard Revit families
· Meet periodically with appointed department designers/drafters for template development ideas and implementations
