HansonLA is currently seeking an Intermediate Architect with a 5-7 years’ experience and demonstrated leadership skills to join our growing team. The appropriate candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and will have the capability to work efficiently within a collaborative studio. This is an intermediate position at HansonLA and the role will a share responsibility for project delivery and management.
Responsibilities
- Act as project support through all phases of medium to large projects
- Manage various portions of project development including conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documents
- Assist in supervising project document control tasks across all projects and maintain quality control of such tasks
- Participate in working through design iterations and presentations with project teams during the design phase
- Prepare design development and construction documentation and client presentation materials
- Review and coordinate details and dimensions
- Perform code review and documentation

Requirements
- Completion of five or six-year professional architectural degree program
- 5-7 years’ experience in design development, architectural design, documentation, detailing; High-rise residential and Construction Administration experience is a plus
- Ability to think and draw in 3d
- Strong graphic skills and technical capability to critically think through the development of a design into documentation
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- High level of proficiency in multiple applications including Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite Programs
- Licensed in the state of California is a plus
- LEED certified is a plus
