Buck Moorhead Architect _New York City based architectural firm specializing in energy-conserving Passive House design strategies for residential, adaptive reuse, not-for-profit, and commercial projects, seeks a lively, highly talented, self-motivated Architectural Designer with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join our team.

Buck Moorhead Architect is a small, collaborative studio. We encourage teamwork and celebrate creativity.

The successful candidate will have:

A degree from an accredited architecture school
3-5 years of professional architectural work experience (minimum)
Proficiency in Vectorworks, Vectorworks 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Sketchup
The capacity to take a project from early design through coordinated construction documents
Knowledge of Passive House Design strategies
A passion for truly regenerative design practices
Great graphic, written, and verbal communication skills
A love of architecture and a desire to learn and grow within the profession
And be authorized to work in the US without need for employee sponsorship
