We are looking for a full-time Interiors Project Manager to join our growing and fast-paced team. This position will be a leader in creating architectural interiors with a focus on large-scale hospitality resorts and will work hand-in-hand with the architectural team to develop exceptional projects. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, detail-oriented, and ambitious. Project Managers in our studio oversee all aspects of a project, including financial, design and delivery, interpersonal, and administrative. They are the construction site representative and project leader throughout the life of a project. They are also leaders and mentors within the studio. The position requires design and coordination on interiors projects in all phases from concept through installation, including management and purchasing. Being able to work independently and in teams, along with superb attention to detail, meet deadlines and adherence to studio standards is expected.

The Interiors Project Management will be responsible for:

  • Team Management
  • Client relations
  • Project administration
  • Drawing delivery
  • Consultant coordination
  • Document management
  • Schedule and budget management
  • Construction administration
  • Specifications production
  • Quality oversight
  • Standards compliance and development
  • Design conceptualization
  • Working with 3D models and 2D representations
  • Sourcing FF&E, managing procurement and overseeing budgets
  • 10-12+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Excellent software skills, including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop at a minimum), 3D modeling (SketchUp or Rhino) and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word at a minimum)
  • ArchiCAD knowledge is preferred; ability to learn and work in 3D BIM software is a must
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building and accessibility codes, lighting design, construction methods, and materials/products
  • Strong time-management, communication, and organization skills
  • Experience in construction and procurement is required
  • Has strong financial acuity and foresight
  • Is resourceful and efficient
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and develop solutions
  • Having an ability to adjust to shifting priorities, and jump between tasks and across scales, is important
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
