We are a multidisciplinary design studio and creative consultancy based in Berlin. Specializing in hospitality design, we work internationally in the fields of interior design, art direction and brand creation.
We are looking for a well-experienced and detail-oriented FF&E project manager. The position will take part in the FF&E team of our Berlin-based studio and will play a key role in providing our clients with trusted service.
Our ideal candidate will have strong experience in the whole FF&E and OS&E lifecycle in hospitality projects, excellent communication skills, the ability to think and work quickly, and organizational skills demonstrated by solid project documentation and adherence to project processes and projections.
Responsibilities:
- preparation of budgets and schedules
- management of budget and schedule across the entire project lifecycle
- create RFP’s and manage the competitive bid process
- provide support to senior team members with project-related communications
- managing multiple complex projects simultaneously from conception through completion
- anticipate project challenges and provide solutions in real-time
- travel may be required at certain times
Requirements:
- bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field
- five years’ experience
- capable of reading and interpreting architectural and detailed furniture drawings
- proficiency in onsite project management and field coordination experience
- experience coordinating with design firms, trades, vendors and manufacturers
- knowledge of sourcing, leadtimes, contracting and procurement processes
- experience in developing and coordinating FF&E and OS&E specifications including bill of quantities
- track record in creating FF&E and OS&E intend drawings
- excellent communication skills
- self-starter, innovative thinker, positive influencer
- advanced Excel skills
- proficient in InDesign and/or PowerPoint
- AutoCAD knowledge helpful
- German language skills are not required
