Small, boutique interior design studio is looking to hire a freelance, senior residential architectural/interior designer to assist with all phases of small scale NYC design and construction projects on a project to project basis.
We would like to develop a long-term relationship with an individual to help throughout the year working as an independent contractor.
Requirements as follows:
• BArch or MArch or MS in Interior Design;
• High level of experience in residential and boutique commercial design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Excellent knowledge of NYC Building Code requirements
• Excellent understanding of interior construction
• Excellent command of English language
• Ability to work from own location
• Lives and works in New York area in or near NYC
• Self-motivation; must take ownership of assignments until complete, working to deadlines
Please provide:
• 3 References, sample of work and resume. Candidate must be able to show construction drawings including, built-in cabinetry and kitchen and bath drawings completed in an office setting in the last 3 years. Only candidates submitting the above mentioned items will be interviewed.
