Gruen Associates, an award-winning Los Angeles architectural, landscape architectural, and planning firm is seeking an Entry or Mid-level landscape designer with abilities to design and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. Urban planners or architectural designers with an interest in landscape architecture are encouraged to apply.

We highly value knowledge of design theory, attention to detail, and strong visual, graphic, and writing abilities. The responsibilities for this role could include field investigation, research, analysis, planning, sustainable design, graphics production, Construction drawings, and public engagement. Our Urban Design, Planning and Landscape Department offers urban/streetscape design, planning, landscape architecture, and transportation services to public and private clients at the local, regional, state, and national levels.

Key Aspects of Position:
- Design Process from Concept to Construction Documentation
- Assist in writing project narratives and design reports
- Generate high-quality project graphics
- Engage with clients with well-articulated presentations and meetings
Required Skills and Experience:
- Entry to Mid-level 1-7 years
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Revit, Rhino, Lumion and/or other rendering programs are desired
- Writing and communication skills
Education: Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or Urban Planning is required.
Salary:
$68,000-$90,000 Annually commensurate with experience
