The Digital Urban Designer is responsible for implementing and managing Waverley Council’s 3D Model as well as providing high level urban design and architectural advice and strategic planning in the LGA. They will use their architectural computing, 3D modelling and spatial analysis skills to advise and make urban design decisions to achieve Council’s vision and strategic outcomes.
To be successful you will have tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Urban Design, GIS, urban planning or other relevant disciplines with demonstrated post-graduate experience. You will also have demonstrated experience in GIS, CAD and digital drafting, preferably using Google Sketchup, Vectorworks or AutoCad, Mapinfo (GIS), QGIS, Skyline Terra Explorer and Key 2 Virtual Insight (K2VI) 3D software. Experience in writing Urban Design referrals and Knowledge of Adobe suite is desirable.
