Award winning Global Design firm with a focus on luxury residential and hospitality is looking for a Digital Design Specialist to join its technologies team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead BIM processes with project teams.
- Develop & communicate BIM standards & BIM strategies to project teams.
- Assist in the development of firm workflows & how-to documentation (Dynamo, Ideate Tools, etc.)
- Attend staffing meetings to stay up-to-date with staffing assignments & advise on BIM scheduling requirements.
- Assist Digital Practice Manager with Firm Content Development efforts and Revit training.
- Provide Revit project support including troubleshooting, training, file maintenance, and content creation
- Collectively build and maintain design content including families and documentation standards with the Design Technology team
- Evaluate new digital tools, BIM/VDC initiatives and workflow methods for firm-wide adoption..
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Architecture/Design or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Revit (academic or professional) with an emphasis on project coordination, family creation and design documentation,
- Proficiency with data and visualization tools. (Enscape, Vray, etc.)
- Familiarity with Office Standard concepts and development.
- Ability to prioritize & multi-task. Proactive, detail-oriented, self-starter who is driven to learn and test out new tools.
- Team player, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience teaching others multistep processes related to software.
- Experience with computation and analysis software (Grasshopper, Dynamo, etc.) a plus.
