As a Building + Design Strategist, you will be responsible for driving our company’s strategic vision and designing solutions that push the boundaries of sustainable human experiences, while embodying our values of fun, impact-mindedness, and tenacity. Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends and technologies to inform design strategies, with a focus on architecture and space design, and the potential impact on people’s lives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions that address business and user needs, with a focus on designing spaces and environments that are fun, innovative, and impactful
- Drive ideation sessions and brainstorm creative concepts for new products, services, and experiences that incorporate architectural elements, while keeping in mind our values of fun, impact-mindedness, and tenacity
- Develop comprehensive design briefs and design systems to guide the execution of design solutions, with a focus on designing spaces and environments that embody our values
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and iterate based on feedback and insights, with a focus on how spaces and environments impact user experiences
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry thought leaders to stay on the cutting edge of emerging trends and technologies related to architecture and space design, while being mindful of our values
- Create thought leadership content, including white papers, presentations, and blog posts, that position our company as a leader in the industry of architectural design research and strategy, while highlighting our values of fun, impact-mindedness, and tenacity
- Present thought leadership content at industry events and conferences to showcase our company’s expertise and innovative solutions in architectural design research and strategy, while embodying our values
- Work with marketing and communications teams to develop messaging and collateral that effectively communicate our company’s vision and value proposition in architectural design research and strategy, while staying true to our values
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in architectural design research, strategic planning, or a related role
- A portfolio demonstrating experience with design thinking, user-centered design, and creative problem-solving in architectural projects that embody our values of fun, impact-mindedness, and tenacity
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, while being mindful of our values
- Passion for staying on the cutting edge of emerging trends and technologies related to architecture and space design, and a drive to innovate and push boundaries in these areas, while embodying our values
