BIM / Technical Drafter

Full-time | In-Office | Retail + Commercial Projects

We’re looking for a BIM / Technical Drafter with strong technical expertise and a hands-on approach to join our collaborative, design-focused studio. This is a full-time, in-office position (no hybrid) focused on retail and large-scale commercial projects, with a primary emphasis on detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models.

The ideal candidate will have worked closely with architects and designers and has strong drafting skills, a solid understanding of construction documents and experience using BIM tools specifically Revit.

Responsibilities

Produce and update architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations and details
Develop and maintain BIM models throughout all project phases
Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP and consultant models
Prepare construction document sets for permitting and bidding
Generate schedules and reports for BIM models
Ensure drawings comply with codes, standards and firm guidelines
Collaborate with project teams to support design intent and technical accuracy

Qualifications

3-5+ years of professional drafting or BIM modeling experience (architecture preferred)
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
Knowledge of construction methods, detailing and documentation standards
Exceptional communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities
Must be comfortable working on-site in the office, and performing regular field visits
