Hatfield Group is looking for Building Information Modelers to join our growing team. We are in need of high energy, talented people, who want an opportunity for growth.

We are located in Tribeca in New York City and provide structural engineering for buildings to a diverse group of high profile architects, developers, and owners. Our projects include high rise towers, academic, cultural and institutional projects.

Responsibilities and Duties – we will train the right candidate.

  • Prepare structural details for beams, columns, footings
  • Setup and model structures in 3D using REVIT
  • Produce Construction Documents
  • Use Rhino for complex geometry and coordination
  • Meet and coordinate with architects and other design team members
  • Work on multiple projects including highrise, muesuem and sports projects
  • Write Dynamo and Grasshopper scripts to speed up work
  • Grow the BIM group and take on more responsibility

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Architecture or Civil Engineering
