UPP Architects + Town Planners is seeking a BIM manager or coordinator to join its team in London.
The BIM Manager will be an integral part of the team delivering significant projects, leading BIM delivery and supporting the architectural team with advanced BIM tools and workflows. As the BIM Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of BIM implementation and management, driving project setup, strategy development, and workflow optimization. This role includes providing technical support and conducting regular reporting on project progress, training needs, and workflow adjustments.
What we are looking for:
- experience in a similar role in an architectural practice; if applying as a BIM coordinator, must have three to five years of experience
- proven track record in managing and delivering BIM strategies and protocols
- entirely up to date with ISO standards and their application in architecture
- have experience balancing various architectural projects and wider practice tasks
Areas of responsibility:
- lead and oversee successful delivery of projects within financial budgets and deadlines
- research, test and develop solutions to architectural problems
- advise on the most appropriate design response to satisfy all constraints and opportunities
- produce and distribute comprehensive project documentation, including detailed drawings, reports, specifications, meeting minutes, applications and contracts
- create designs and highly detailed drawings in Revit
- collaborate closely with a diverse team of professionals, including building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and structural engineers, as well as clients
- manage project tender processes including attending contractor interviews, assessing tender returns and advising clients
