Mallol Architects is hiring a BIM manager to join its team in the Republic of Panama.

Mallol Architects is a company with 45 years of experience dedicated to the area of design in all fields, with an emphasis on architectural, interior and urban design. We are the largest firm of design in Latin America.

We are currently looking for a BIM manager that meets the following profile:

Responsibilities:

define the organisational BIM implementation strategy, understanding the company’s objectives and goals in the short, medium and long term
update and monitor compliance with the organisation’s BIM standards and protocols (tool templates, communication protocols)
lead all BIM standardization processes
structure and implement all change management processes
monitor the applicability of the BIM standards and processes of the projects
define and maintain the organization’s BIM metrics
build the BIM training plans for the professionals of the unit under his charge
build the BIM training plans for the company’s professionals
train the professionals under his charge and the company’s professionals in the BIM methodology
define and ensure the application of BIM quality controls in projects
provide technical support in BIM tools and processes
define BIM requirements for external contractors
represent the company in national, international and trade BIM initiatives
audit projects in order to ensure the BIM
methodology defined guarantees the quality of the drawings

Experience:

eight to ten years’ of work experience in the field of architecture with emphasis on the execution of complex projects
extensive knowledge in BIM methodology
comprehensive experience in BIM processes
proficiency in the use of BIM coordination and collaboration software (ifc viewer, BIM management system and BIM collaboration platform)
proficiency in the use of 2D/3D software (AutoCAD and Revit), as well as Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Project)
extensive knowledge of architectural processes
managing teams of BIM professionals in charge of projects, managing risks, identifying them and creating timely action plans
standardization and optimization of technological processes
experience and knowledge in advanced modeling
advanced written and spoken spanish and english language skills
