Overview:
Float is a multidisciplinary full-service studio that creates spaces, products, and interior identities for workplaces, commercial spaces, hospitality and retail. Vastly experienced, highly collaborative, and open-minded, they build relationships to their clients through in-depth discovery and considered design direction.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the design team on the development of construction documents.
- Provide program and code research, fit test development, and set up construction documents for development in close coordination with the senior architect.
- Generate DSK’s
- Manage submittal logs, field RFI’s and assist in construction administration for projects
- Set up project files and ongoing organization
- Coordinate construction documents with FF&E specifications provided by the design team.
Qualifications:
- BArch or M.Arch
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, BIM, CAD (Autocad or Vectorworks)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of standard office software (i.e. Google Suite)
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Ability to work hybrid (minimum 3 days in the office)
