GLUCK+ (formerly Peter Gluck and Partners Architects)GLUCK+, a 40+ person architecture firm located in Harlem is recognized for its unique Architect Led Design Build practice.
We are accepting applications from intermediate level Graphic Designers or Architects for an in-house position to manage the production of a series of self-published content including past and present projects. The aim is to produce a series of booklets that exist as stand-alone books and simultaneously, as part of a larger book series that has a cohesive graphic framework. Content will be both in print and digital format and may integrate with video and/or online content as well.
Candidates must have strong graphic design capabilities, good writing and project management skills, and a passion for, and understanding of architecture. Individual will collaborate with firm principals and PR Department as well as coordinate the outsourcing, where necessary, of graphic design and content writers. We are looking for individuals with initiative and flexibility, interest in visual and written storytelling, and a desire to reinvent the way architecture is represented. The ideal candidate is able to communicate complex ideas with clarity: visually, verbally, graphically, and in writing.
Specific Skills: Facility with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office a must. Knowledge of 3D programs (Rhino, Sketch-up, V-Ray/ Enscape), and AutoCAD a plus.
Compensation: Salary range is $65,000 to $95,000 depending on experience level and skill set.
