Architectural Project Manager

Magid Studio is a design-focused boutique studio with residential, commercial, and residential projects all across the US.

We are seeking a full or part-time project architect/manager to work on a bunch of new and in-progress retail and residential projects. We offer a flexible yet challenging work environment with lots of opportunity for advancement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit design talent and a strong attention to detail
  • Balance architectural project management for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Design with understanding & acknowledgment of zoning ordinances, building codes and accessibility codes
  • Produce Construction Documents, millwork drawings and furniture details
  • Establish deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Possess an ability to self-manage, as well as participate, in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Project delivery experience from start of design to end of construction required
  • Works directly under the Principal Architect for guidance and professional development

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture or Design from an accredited university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as an architect/designer
  • Experience in construction document production and permitting
  • Thorough working knowledge of Autodesk (AutoCAD), Adobe (Photoshop & Illustrator) and all Microsoft Office platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Professional drive, passion, and self-direction
