Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with a passion for design and leadership to join our growing studio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects and hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to develop project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Oversee the coordination and execution of design and construction document sets and project specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and project requirements.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create, review, and refine design documents, including technical drawings and details.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Review and respond to contractor submittals, RFIs, and change order requests.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and adherence to design standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues in real-time.
- Coordinate with the Accounting department to ensure billing milestones are met and invoicing is accurate.
- Communicate project status, including challenges, risks, and resource needs, to firm principals.
- Assist in project budget development, work planning, and proposal creation.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional growth.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in project management within the architecture or engineering sectors.
- 2+ years of experience using Revit for drafting and modeling.
- 8+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, with a solid understanding of architectural and engineering standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, ADA requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
