We design-develop innovative affordable homeownership opportunities through local middle housing developments. We provide Passive House consultation in-house and provide this service for other firms nationwide. You are a mission-aligned, self-motivated architectural designer with a strong technical aptitude. You are excited to participate in a team process to deliver healthy, inspiring architecture, through both creative vision and technical detailing. You’re eager to put your technical skills to use developing energy models for Passive House projects (on-the-job training provided).
Responsibilities
- Architectural design, drafting and detailing (Sketchup & Revit)
- Energy modeling (WUFI Passive, on-the-job training provided)
- Client and consultant communications
- Construction observation
Requirements
- Architectural degree, B. Arch or M. Arch
- 0 – 5 years of experience
- Demonstrated technical ability or Certified Passive House Consultant
- Strong communication skills
- MS Excel proficiency. Experience with software listed above is also preferred
This is a full-time, salaried, and hybrid position for someone local to the Eugene or Portland area. Salary will be commensurate with experience, roughly $40,000 to $65,000. Paid time off is included, though no healthcare benefits are offered currently. Eugene personnel are typically evenly remote and in-office. Portland candidates should expect travel to Eugene approximately every other week.
