IA DESIGN STUDIO is a boutique Architectural Design firm located in Los Angeles that specializes in high-end custom residential buildings. We have an immediate need for a Designer with knowledge and experience in residential architectural design. We are looking for a candidate to assist with several of our contemporary remodel & ground up homes. Candidate Must have strong CAD, 3D Sketchup and rendering program skills.

DUTIES:

Research project programming, codes, and or other issues relevant to conceptual & schematic design
Prepare 3d presentations
Produce construction documents
Coordinate with other disciplines and consultants
Correspond with clients, consultants, and building officials
Develop and compile project specifications

REQUIRED SKILLS:

5 or more years professional experience is required.
A proficient level of experience in the use of AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience in producing design and construction document sets
Possess high level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and multi-task against deadlines
Self-motivated individual with strong work ethic

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture
