Guggenheim Architecture + Design is a boutique architecture and interiors studio focused on high-end residential and design-forward commercial work. We have won numerous AIA and IIDA awards and recently received the AIA Pacific Northwest Emerging Firm Award. We are seeking ambitious and well-rounded architects or designers to join our team as we continue our progression as a design-driven, people-focused, creative studio. Prerequisites

  • 3-5+ years of experience with high-end custom residential projects
  • Ability to produce high quality and detailed drawing sets
  • Strong technical skills related to design, detailing and residential code review
  • Motivated, collaborative and creative problem solver with a strong work ethic
  • Discerning sense of design with strong graphic and technical skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Willing to both receive and give constructive/critical feedback
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties Include

  • Work on our studio’s high-end custom residential and boutique commercial projects
  • Develop drawings and construction documents according to established standards, both collaboratively and independently
  • Coordinate structural, mechanical, lighting and landscape consultants

Technical Proficiencies

  • Archicad or Revit (we are an Archicad office and will train if you are a Revit user)
  • Enscape
  • Sketchup
  • Adobe Suite
  • MAC OS platform

Required Education

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Architecture at an accredited institution

Location and Availability

  • This position is open to applicants who want the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, and must be currently living in the Portland metro area.
  • 100% in office provisionary period upon hiring for training purposes
  • 40 hour work week (with opportunities for compensated overtime)
  • Have the ability to visit job sites both locally and regionally
