DBA is an small, busy practice based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with a longtime focus on work within the visual arts and design industries. We’re a collaborative studio seeking an experienced, and uniquely qualified lead architect and teammate.
Current work includes detail intensive new construction and renovation of commercial and high end residential projects as well as product, furnishings, and interior design.
Our candidate should have some knowledge of NYC building department processes, experience organizing consultant work, and have an understanding of standard AIA contract management. Organization, humor, and good communication skills are important to us.
The position is especially well suited for those interested in fine arts and design. It’s also for those who appreciate craft and are into developing materials and details. We’re a Vectorworks office and knowledge of this platform as well as 3D software is a plus.
