Perkins&Will is seeking a senior architect with five to eight years’ experience post-qualification to join its team in London.

For this position, we are ideally looking for someone who is a passionate all-rounder designer, confident working across the complete RIBA work stages and an individual who would be keen to mentor and support junior members of team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar scale studio environment and will have the ability to work across a range of sectors, such as healthcare, life-science, commercial and larger-scale master planning. An ability to draw in Revit is a key requirement for this position and there will be a Revit assessment as part of the interview process.

Key responsibilities (not limited to):
- demonstrates an advanced knowledge of project complexity to proactively contribute to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals, and standards of excellence in design, execution and living design
- develops creative and innovative design ideas, concepts and solutions while participating as an integral member of the design team
- coordinates drawings, documents and calculations for all project stages
- analyses product research and identifies material selections
- takes an active role in crafting presentations and prepares corresponding materials
- implements a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects within the scope of schedule and budget, in an organised, timely and consistent way
- reviews work for accuracy, omissions, legibility and for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual
- supports growth of others
- expresses curiosity about the world of design and the industry at large
- takes increasing ownership of tasks within project teams and studio activities
- participates in design reviews, charettes and pin-ups
- ensures agreed regenerative design goals are met
- prepares and reviews documentation including schedules, minutes, notes and reports under supervision for all project stages

Licensure/certifications/education:
- professional degree in architecture
- LEED GA within six months of hire
- professional accreditation in one area of living design that interests you: LEED AP with specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, CPHC/CPHE Passive House Institute Certified Passive House or RELi AP
