The main office in Basel works in tandem with studios in Berlin and Munich, Paris, London, Hong Kong, New York, and San Francisco.
For our office in Basel we are looking for an experienced architect/engineer with a focus on SMEP Coordination to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your profile:
- professional master of science degrees in civil or architectural engineering (with structural focus)
- minimum of seven years’ professional experience in structural and MEP coordination, preferably in high rise projects; coordinate structural and MEP systems in high rise buildings
- collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure seamless integration of all building systems
- conduct detailed reviews of structural and MEP drawings and specifications
- identify and resolve any coordination issues that arise during the different design phases
- ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, standards and regulations
- provide technical support and guidance to project teams
- prepare and present reports, proposals and project updates to stakeholders
- independent in coordination and communication with consultants, producers and system suppliers, as well as potential contractors
- excellent knowledge of model-based coordination; proficient in a coordination platform like ACC, Revizto or similar; Rhino combined with good Revit
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- strong organisational and management skills
- good German and very good English language skills are required
