As the Office Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in our office’s day-to-day operations. This position requires an individual with high motivation, organization, responsibility, trust, and focus. This role is in-person and intended to be full-time. Your responsibilities will span finance, administration, and human resources:


  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Administer payroll, employee benefits, and tax filings.
  • Prepare and monitor the annual budget.
  • Handle contracts and prepare periodic financial reviews/reports.
  • Collaborate with our financial consultant and tax accountant for in-depth financial analysis.


  • Maintain Office Inventory/supplies.
  • Maintain business insurance and software licenses.
  • Ensure smooth office operations, including answering calls, fielding initial customer inquiries, and following up on potential leads.
  • Maintain office and employment records.
  • Perform required Human Resources functions, including preparation of hiring paperwork.
  • Act as a liaison between staff and principals

Your Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of accounting, with an understanding of accrual and cash basis
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software; Accounting/QuickBooks certifications preferred.
  • Minimum associate degree from a two-year college or university.
  • A deep commitment to sustainability.
  • Previous experience managing a professional office; preferred.
