Diller Scofidio + RenfroDiller Scofidio + Renfro is an interdisciplinary design studio that integrates architecture, the visual arts, and the performing arts. Based in New York City, Diller Scofidio + Renfro is led by four partners who work collaboratively with a staff of 100 architects, artists and administrators.
We are currently seeking a 3D visualization expert / renderer with strong design skills for immediate hiring. The ideal candidate should be versed in multiple 3d softwares and must possess a variety of skills including digital modeling and the Adobe Creative Suite. Applicants must be attentive to details and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- 3D Digital modeling
- Rendering including composition, lighting, material creation
- Post processing using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other softwares. Animation experience is a plus.
- Working as part of a design team on competitions and early stage design projects
- Offer critical thinking on how to best illustrate a project or project ideas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture (preferred but not required)
- Minimum 2 years of professional working experience
- Proficiency with design and rendering software: Rhino/Enscape/Vray (Additional software knowledge including Rhino SubD, Blender, Maya, and 3ds Max, Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro are a plus)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take design direction, feedback, and observations with a positive attitude

This is a Full Time – In Studio position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience ranging from $65k to $80k depending on experience, excluding bonuses and other benefits. This is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description.
