The ASPECT Studio Dubai team is the regional base for our Middle Eastern projects. Located near Burj Khalifa, among the date palm-lined streets of Souk Al Bahar, we are surrounded by other creative studios and spaces. We are a sociable team and inclusive workplace.
About you:
We are seeking applications from motivated, innovative landscape architects operating at a senior level who can demonstrate exceptional project leadership and delivery. With all roles based in the Dubai studio in a permanent full-time capacity, our ideal candidates will be able to hit the ground running and contribute specialist design and project management skills to a growing team.
Successful candidates will be degree qualified with at least five years post graduate experience in design, as well as the ability to lead complex, large scale projects to successful completion. They will be responsible for overseeing project outputs and deliverables, including monitoring design outputs and the development of client relationships.
All ASPECT designers deliver projects to the highest standard. Candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate good design thinking process through their portfolio of work. You will be comfortable adapting and working in a fast-paced environment, whilst actively engaging with and contributing to a collaborative and team-based studio culture. For the successful candidates, this is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global organisation on exciting projects in the MENA region and become key members of our growing Dubai studio.
We’re looking for landscape designers with:
- degree qualification(s) in landscape architecture, architecture or urban Design
- excellent 3D software skills (advanced Rhino and Grasshopper capability is essential)
- advanced design and documentation experience in CAD (AutoCAD or Vectorworks) and Lumion (required)
- experience in preparing reports and presentations (advanced InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills)
- intermediate REVIT proficiency will be highly regarded
- experience coordinating interdisciplinary collaboration
- knowledge and understanding of design issues e.g. planning, planting and vegetation
