Our team of talented professionals is dedicated to creating innovative lighting solutions that transform spaces and enhance experiences. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Proposal Manager to join our team and play a vital role in promoting our brand and services.
Position Summary
As the Proposal Manager at One Lux Studio, you will be the driving force behind our attainment of new work. You will work directly with the firm’s partners to create compelling proposals that effectively communicate our expertise and value proposition to potential clients. Your ability to craft persuasive written content will be crucial in showcasing our strengths and differentiating us in the market.
In addition to proposal writing, you will also spend 10-20 percent of your time contributing to various marketing tasks including content creation for our website and social media platforms, assisting in the development of marketing collateral, and collaborating with our internal design team to ensure visual consistency.
Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
Review incoming RFP requests to understand and outline proposal requirements, seeking clarification from the client if needed.
Compile appropriate project descriptions, resumes, organizational charts tailored to the client/pursuit objectives.
Establish and manage timelines, communicating frequently to relevant parties to ensure each proposal is optimally prepared, reviewed, and delivered on time.
Gather all necessary proposal elements by coordinating directly with the firm’s partners, internal project teams and external partners as needed.
Track proposal activity and follow-up when appropriate.
Develop and maintain marketing materials (project sheets, project lists, resumes and profiles)
Coordinate presentations and interviews.
Manage social media including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
Assist in preparation of award submittals.
Oversee, organize, and maintain image/video library including management of copyright and terms of use.
Coordinate and obtain project photography.
Conduct monthly marketing meetings with Partners.
Uphold internal and external branding standards.
Qualifications:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading abilities.
Capacity to grasp technical concepts and translate them into easily understandable language.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
Previous experience with proposal writing in architecture, design, or related industries.
Familiarity with lighting and/or A/E/C industry and professional organizations (IESNA, IALD, AIA) is a plus.

Base salary: $65,000/yr. – $85,000/yr. (Exact compensation commensurate with ability and experience)
Type: Full-time, Hybrid with 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
