Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Architectural Project Manager to provide architectural design and construction document services for multi-family projects across the country, varying in type from low density gardens to high-density wraps and podiums. Duties include working closely with clients, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and state and local departments, with a focus on delivering a thoughtful, quality design. Candidate must be organized and have experience effectively managing a team. This is a full-time position, in-office, located in Dallas, TX. Candidate must have a NAAB accredited degree in Architecture to be considered. Registered architects are preferred, but not required. Must have a background in project management and experience working on multi-family housing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Principal, Owner(s), and staff in the execution of all aspects of the architectural design process.
- Coordinates team members and outside consultants in the execution of architectural services, including design, code research, scheduling, construction documents, and quality control.
- Assists in Construction Administration Services.
- Assists in defining the scope of work for each project.
- Applies Womack + Hampton standards and practices to each project.
Qualifications:
- NAAB Accredited degree required, registered architect a plus
- 5+ years of architectural experience
- Strong background CADD, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
- Experience in the preparation of architectural design and construction documents
- Well-versed in Fair-Housing Act guidelines and building codes, with strong experience in code research
- Experience coordinating with teams and external consultants
- Strong experience in new multi-family construction
- Strong graphic and visualization skills for conceptualization of design ideas and detail standards
- Exceptional skill in communication and collaboration
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Revit, and/or Sketchup a plus, but not required
- Must be legally qualified to work in the United States
