As a Project Coordinator at our firm, you will play a pivotal role in our project and proposal process, actively engaging with clients and driving operational excellence. The Role:

  1. Project and Proposal Process: Contribute to the project and proposal process by actively engaging with clients, understanding their requirements, and providing valuable input to the team.
  2. Client-Facing Role: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Creating Order from Chaos: Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, effectively managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines to bring structure and efficiency to project coordination.
  4. Assertive Planning and Implementation: Take charge in planning and implementing strategies, leveraging your tenacity to drive successful outcomes and overcome obstacles.
  5. Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, innovations, and best practices, identifying opportunities to enhance our practices and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  6. Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve our project coordination practices, streamline workflows, and optimize operational efficiency.
  7. Collaboration: Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and project success.
  8. Continuous Learning: Maintain a proactive approach to learning, staying informed about emerging technologies, project management methodologies, and industry advancements.
  9. Client Satisfaction: Strive to exceed client expectations, deliver exceptional service, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project journey.

Industry knowledge and experience with the following trends and groundbreaking strategies are a plus:

  • Participatory Design: Experience engaging stakeholders, end-users, and communities in the design process to ensure inclusivity, social impact, and user-centric solutions.
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM): Proficiency in BIM software and methodologies for efficient collaboration, data management, and streamlined project coordination.
  • Sustainability and Green Design: Understanding sustainable design principles, renewable energy integration, and eco-friendly materials to create environmentally responsible projects.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Thrive in novel and challenging scenarios, showcasing adaptability, resourcefulness, and the ability to make informed decisions in unfamiliar contexts.
  3. Proven experience in project coordination, including involvement in the project and proposal process, with a focus on client engagement.
  4. Proactive tech-focused mindset, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence.
  5. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  6. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  7. Experience with Autodesk Revit or other BIM software
