The candidate will be exposed to the entire process of design, permitting and construction enabling them to grow as a young professional and move toward licensure if desired. Candidates for the position must exhibit a strong design sensibility and a general technical understanding of Type V & Type V over podium construction knowledge. The candidate needs to be comfortable working directly with the principal and others in a fast-paced creative studio environment. Strong graphic and as well as written and verbal communication skills are critical.
Specific qualifications include:
- Accredited Professional or Graduate degree in Architecture with at least 2 years professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of 3D modeling, presentation and design software: Revit, 3D Rhino, Autocad, Photoshop, and InDesign are key.
- Ability to draw and assemble construction drawings
- Ability to coordinate and integrate the work of project consultants.
- Skilled at multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines.
- Competence in working within a fast-paced, collaborative design environment.
- Ability to receive direction and work under a Lead Designer to complete and augment an overall design direction.
