LUCE et studio is a collaborative architecture and design practice that follows the legacy of the workshop atelier model. The firm’s cross-disciplinary approach supports and advances creative explorations with a wide array of practitioners in various fields, including designers, artists, craftspeople, and thinkers. LUCE commissions center on the cultural, arts, and workspace realm, and also include residential, urban design, and custom furniture projects.
The successful candidate will be passionate about design excellence and have great communication and collaboration skills. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a high degree of self-motivation, flexibility, and resourcefulness. Candidates should be able to exhibit the following qualifications:
- 2-5 years of professional experience in design and construction document phases
- Professional degree in architecture, B. Arch / M.Arch
- Licensure or actively pursuing licensure highly desirable.
- Will support projects with the assistance of a Project Architect from conception to completion. recommended experience in the area of 3D modeling, drawing development and assembling construction documents,
- Advanced proficiency in Revit is preferred, with ability to set up projects, maintain file organization, develop construction documentation drawings using industry best practices.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape or Lumion, Sketchup, Rhino, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop, MS Office.
- Strong design skills are essential.
- Possess a professional interest and basic understanding of the California Building Code, including accessibility, egress, occupancy separation, allowable building areas/heights
- Excellent communication skills, can communicate effectively with clients and team members, and strong organizational skills
- Very detail-oriented, self-motivated, team player with a problem-solving attitude
