We specialize in smaller projects often on weird lots with tight spaces on tight budgets for incredibly appreciative non-millionaires…We do lots of ADU’s which we believe will usher in a new type of suburban density in Los Angeles.
Our office is located in a storefront in La Canada near Pasadena. Where we also have a small store selling objects for small living. The job is hourly but full time. Work hours are flexible, however always in person.
90% of our projects get built and the work will reflect that. The work will cover all aspects of architectural practice from design to drafting, from consultant coordination to specs, from permitting to bid prep.
We are seeking a junior+ designer who is interested in smaller scale architecture and making things, who is happy to work on all aspects, and who has a sense of style/taste.
We highly value curiosity, enthusiasm, a commitment to professional growth, the ability to work well with others and the desire to learn.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or B.Arch. Degree
- Favors CAD and Sketchup
- Good graphic sensibility and careful craft
- Preexisting authorization to work in the USA
- Interior Design/ Environmental Design skills a plus
