We are currently accepting resumes for a dynamic, creative, highly energetic Senior Interior Designer for our NYC office.
•Conduct programming efforts such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, lighting and color coordination.
•Develop innovative design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe and conducive to intended purposes and function which is reflective of client goals and within project budget.
•Render conceptual design ideas and prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
•Coordinate color and material palettes.
•Incorporate integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
•Prepare and conduct client presentations.
•Responsible for communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements and provides support as necessary.
•Run all phases of a project from Schematic Design through Construction Administration.
•Support the Construction Administration phase responding to RFIs, COs, and reviews shop drawings.
•Mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.
•Minimum 10-15 years related experience.
•Prior experience in successfully leading corporate/commercial interior project teams and coordinating with project consultants/clients.
•Possess creative talent in conceptual design and rendering skills of either hand or computer sketching.
•Knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, materials application and
•Knowledge of furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting and color schemes to carryout design intent.
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
•Strong technical skills including proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT and other related design software.
•NCIDQ and/or Registered Architects preferred.
•LEED accredited preferred.
•A graduate of an accredited Masters or Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design degree program or related combination.
