The Dallas office of Perkins Eastman, which includes ForrestPerkins, a distinct studio of Perkins Eastman, has an immediate need for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department team. The Graphic Designer will work with the Interior Designers/Architects on graphic work related to presentations and projects and the Marketing Manager on project proposals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Graphically communicate the team’s design vision to clients through presentation materials.

  • May include, but not limited to, creating unique presentation templates and covers that represent the design intent of the project as well as rendering floor plans, elevations and perspectives in Photoshop.

  • Along with presentations.

  • Assist the marketing team to implement visually stimulating marketing materials that represent the ForrestPerkins and Perkins Eastman brands. This may include updating brochure layouts, creating informational graphics, and email campaigns.

  • Other marketing responsibilities include producing visually stimulating proposals, public relations activities, market research, and various activities associated with communications for ForrestPerkins and Perkins Eastman.

Proposals

  • Assist with assembling proposals

  • Edit marketing resource materials, project descriptions, resumes, experience, boilerplate, etc.

  • Quality control over the visual appearance of the format

  • Assembling concept imagery for initial outreach proposals

Communications

  • Assembling, formatting, coordinating with PR for Award Submissions

  • Coordinate/update email lists

  • Formatting email blasts

  • Updating Current Website

  • Keep Templates, Logos, Brochures up to date and accessible

Presentations

  • Coordinate with design team to develop presentation templates representational of the project’s character

  • Sourcing lifestyle/mood images to be used to convey the mood/design aesthetic and create teaser pages for the presentations

  • Render Floor Plans, Elevations, Key Perspectives, Sketches (Presentation Content)

  • Quality Control over Design Presentations if they are being implemented by others

Other responsibilities:

  • Support other Marketing functions, as necessary.

  • May handle other responsibilities as needed.

 

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, Graphic Design/Interior Design or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in an Architectural, Interior Design or Graphic Design Environment.

  • Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Good interpersonal, verbal and writing ability

  • Creative out of the box thinking

  • Collaboration (Being able to take a designers vision and graphically communicate it)

  • Constant Contact online software

  • Understanding of the Print Process & Set up

  • Freehand drawing ability is a plus

  • Understanding of the Design Presentation Process (Concept, SD, DD) is a plus

  • Deltek Vision experience is a plus

  • Excellent communications and organizational skills, as well as strategic thinking ability; able to work under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast pace environment.

  • Strong experience and advanced capabilities with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office required.
